This page depicts problems I attempt to run away from, but deal with anyway. I hope y’all enjoy my cartoon medium and can relate to some of these #runnerprobs.

Last Update: June 15, 2020

I began this page when the COVID19 pandemic was in full swing. Like so many others, I had more time on my hands, which gave me an excuse to doodle more often.

I was sketching a runner one morning while I proctored (via Zoom) an exam for a course I TA”d. The way one of my temporary lines were drawn made my runner look like she was dealing with some camel-toe. I thought it was pretty funny, so I abandoned my original concept in favor of this:

A problem we can all relate to! #frizz (March, 2020)

And kept going…

Sweat becomes an insect-adhesive more easily than I would like… (March, 2020).
Ugh. Two weeks later we had our first 90+ degree day… (March 9, 2020)
Nooooope! (May, 2020)
Canadian Geese are devil spawn. Fact-check me. (June 7, 2020)

I think it’s pretty fun to compile these running-related mishaps. I’m going to add to this “Problems” page as I keep drawing them, so keep checking back for more! 🙂
